Currently pit excavation is in active progress at the construction site of the second phase of the project LIFE-Botanic Garden. Sheet piling is being installed on its perimeter. This "wall" of steel pipes, alternating with wooden planks (lagging, as the builders call them) is designed to prevent the collapse of the soil. It also helps to establish a safe space on the construction site .

Also, preparations have began for the concreting and waterproofing of the foundation plate of one of the buildings. Works are underway on setting up the base for installing the tower crane.
